In my opinion of the Dead Poets Society movie, I think the central message & theme of the movie is you only leave once. Like each character where daring in there own way once you separated them by the events. Like Uywanda (aka Charlie) he was the wild & most daring one out of all the group of friends. He was threaten multiple times & even got a beating by the old man who i think is the principle. There fore the central theme to me about this movie is be your self but cautious at certain times.Thursday
I feel like Neil was going to kill his self eventually because Mr. Keating was really helping Neil with his confidence & make him feel better about himself. Charlie was the bravest out of all Mr. Keatings students, Charlie was a wild & did some pretty dumb things but he wasn't a coward like Neil who took the easy way out of life & committed suicide. Then the person who probably put the books in Neil room was Todd since he was so nice to him when they where on the ruff & they threw away his birthday gift. He probably did it as a favor for his roommate.Friday
1) My Dad had a major influence on me, he should me how to survive if anything where to happened to him. He showed me how to cook for myself, pay bills, & how to drive. Taught me right from wrong be respectful to those who show respect back if not don't tolerate it & separate my self from. & watch those who i have around. I do think about it everyday was there more my Father wanted to teach or show before his time was up on this Earth.
2) I agree with some what of it what Mr. Keating said. Poetry is everything & anything you think it is. Poetry doesn't have a right or wrong answer . That's how I look & feel about poetry just let poetry be what it is to you.
3) Yes I agree with Mr. Keating, its kinda like how i deal with feelings. I might be smiling & laughing on the outside but on the inside I'm hurting, crying, sad, more than I can show so I keep it inside & continue on with my life.
4) I would hope my last verse would be Chris Reed was a good, true friend, & stay trued to anybody that really knew him. Also kept us entertained, very chilled & laid back guy.
